Ok, first, if you’re on the East Coast and you’re snowed in, do your best to call expireds!  It’s March 2nd, and March 1st was a Sunday.  Chances are very few expireds were called.  The snow day means that most of your competition won’t be working today, and many more prospects will be home than usual!  Go set some appointments!

Finally, no matter what you’ve been told, homes are selling.  My parents are selling their home and asked me to refer them an agent in their home town.  I researched the agent with the most closed and pendings, as well as active listings.  I checked out her average days on market and her list to sale price ratio.  I was very confident I gave my parents the right agent, but you never know what happens when they’re on the listing appointment, nor did I know what my parents were thinking in terms of pricing.  Well, the agent priced the home properly and it went in the MLS last Thursday.  As of yesterday, they already had three showings and 1 offer.

It’s not rocket science.  Price it right, it sells.  The toughest part is convincing the seller of that.  Maybe you’ll want some objection handlers????  🙂
